Is this Omad diet good for you or not? It doesn’t matter how much you want to lose weight not eating for 23 hours is just too much. The thing is Jamaicans love to eat their three meals a day so eating one meal a day could drive them crazy. The “great thing” is after not eating for so long then you eat anything that you want in one meal. Really? Does this actually work? Is this safe for the human body? The fancy name for the Omad diet is called intermittent fasting. Believe it or not it actually works but it is not recommended by nutritionists. We need to keep in mind that children and adults with underlined health issues should not partake in Omad. If you are suffering from diabetes or some other health issues this diet is not for you. The diet can also cause a spike or a lowering of your blood sugar level. If you are in to this diet to lose wight is is claimed that you can lose from 7 to 11 pounds over 10 weeks. It will take a lot of discipline on your part however especially at the initial stages.

The good and bad of Omad

Omad Diet based on Nourish by webM.D. has stated that there are benefits that can be derived from this diet. They include improvement in your metabolism rate as well as help you to burn fat. It could also help you to lose weight if you eat in the mornings. One must be cognizant of the fact though that this diet could also increase your blood pressure and cholesterol levels and this cannot be good. If you were ever afraid of hunger then this diet could be your test. Can you handle it?

This is because you need to take a lot into consideration as in the case of the Omad diet.
