To worry is having faith in something that is not of God. When we learn to trust in God, we have no need to worry about anything. In (Matthew 6 vs 30-32) we were told not to worry about anything. God got us! Faith produces life and lack of faith produces death.
Worrying is like paying a debt you do not owe. Worry comes out of doubt and the root of doubt is fear and fear is faith in reverse. If you are a person who fears, then you’ll attract every evil that exists. We worry because we are unable or unwilling to control it. But worry, as with any emotion, can be restrained and controlled. But why worry though, especially about the things we cannot control. Give it to Jesus he can fix it. “Don’t worry about a thing, ‘Cause every little thing gonna be all right’ (Bob Marley and The Wailers).
We must identify the object of our worry and focus on it. Tell yourself that if you cannot fix it then you’re going leave it at the feet of Jesus. Song writer says “take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.” (Grace Thrillers)
Jesus tells us not to worry, because he our provider. We have to stop trying to understand him with our human mind we must stretch our faith muscles to believe in a God we cannot see, feel, hear, taste or smell in the natural. Whatever God says He will do, call it done. He’s not a man that He should lie. Number 23 vs19 whatever he says will be manifested in our lives. We have to have the kind of faith that is immovable. Having strong faith like a pillar, nothing will move our faith. Hebrews 11 vs 6 tells us that if we diligently seek him, he will reward us. So there’s no need for worrying.
If there comes a time when life gets unbearable and you find yourself worrying, pause and think if it’s worth worrying over, can I fix it. Then you will know exactly what to do. Build a prayer altar and let’s do this. Prayer changes things so “Pray more worry less.”
