His Guidance

Jamaica land we love has been known for its strong and powerful legacy of spirituality. This came from our forefathers and it is based on this why we as a people are so spiritual. God is always apart of how we live and it is not something that will leave us any time soon. We all have our journey to take and take it we must.

Prayer is important

My family and I was travelling over the past weekend and everything was going fine. It was a three hour journey and of course we prayed before we left out. We asked that the Lord protect us and give us journeying mercies as we travel. The family asked that the Lord sends his guardian angels before us and pave the way for our journey. This for most people I hope is standard when taking a trip whether they are Christians or not. Little did we know that further up the road we would be in for a rude awakening.

Things can still go wrong

Yes, we had an accident! It was frightening and after seeing that we were fine and the other party was fine we went into the whole thing of who was right or who was wrong. That got us nowhere fast. So what we did was to find solutions which we did. We said our goodbyes to some of our cash and like I said it was a three hour journey and so we continued.

More things can go wrong

About two hours into the journey we saw a police vehicle flew pass us and we thought it was just a passing thing. We were wrong. The police pulled us over and accused us of a traffic violation and at this point my lovely wife decided that we need to turn back and go home. She got mad and blew a gasket! This was too much and it was not worth it. Again we had dialogue and the very insightful officer realized that whatever it was that he thought we had done was not done. His partner saw our distress and told us that our delay might have been for a very good reason.

The destination

We slowly went about our business and we got to our destination. We were happy we continued because we had the best time ever. The place was beautiful and very therapeutic. We ate, drank, and danced too. Furthermore the company was to die for and to think these were people who we did not even know. It was both informative and fun which for me was a perfect combination. The journey was worth it.

Fulfill God’s Purpose

Our journey will not always be smooth but we know were we want to get to. We will get weary with the struggles and we will feel like turning back. Stand fast and stay strong because God is with you. Let us not give into these feelings because what’s waiting for us might be greater than we have ever dreamed. Let me also say we came back home safe and sound and with no problems. Continue your journey.
