Building The Kingdom Of God

Let’s do it together

It’s time to continue building the Kingdom of God and we cannot do it individually. We need every gift that God has given us. Ephesian 4 vs 11 speaks about the different gifts that Christ has given for the edifying of the church and even though He encourages training and learning His calling takes priority.

Speak the truth!

Paul talks about the great diversity within the body of Christ in regards to spiritual gifts and the grace that each believer receives. It is the harmony in which we are called and should be manifested through the variety of gifts that are bestowed on each of God’s Children. All are called to grow in the knowledge and Grace of God. We are also called to speak the truth of the glorious gospel in love to one another.

To each is own.

Every leader has a different office and every office is important in building the Kingdom of God. All share the same job which is spreading the word of God. In the body of Christ, every member is important. One person cannot do it by themselves. It’s just like building a dwelling house. You will need all the different type of workmen building the house. The carpenter, steel man, mason, laborer, electrician, plumber, tiler, painter along with others will all be needed. So you see we are builders together for the Kingdom of God!

Do you know your gift?

We are called to do our part with the gifts God has given us. If we do not know what our gift is then we need to seek the Lord for the manifestation of our gifts or our calling. It’s just like natural fruits, we blend them together and we get a very refreshing and tasty drink. So when we pool our gifts together we can tear down the devils army and continue building the Kingdom of God. The family of God is powerful together and not apart.

Being shy is not an option!

Christians are sometimes shy away from the gift because of the lack of motivation or our feeling of insuffiency but we have to remember that when God calls us, He equips us.
So in building the Kingdom let us put every gift together and go out and bring in the lost souls. The harvest is ripe and the laborers are few. If we thrive to do what we’re called to do, by pulling our resources together, we will be amazed of how much we can do. We would be surprised with how much lives we can impact.

It is never a competition!

There must not be any competition between us. Stop watching each other and work together. Competition will only cause division and chaos. Let us be thankful for our great salvation. We should be willing to embrace and fulfil our own unique role in building this kingdom. Let us take up our tools, come together building the Kingdom of God.

Let us start building today!

The song writer says “ I must work the work of him who sent me while it’s day, for when the night is come the time for work will be done away, will you be willing to work for Jesus every time and every day, He’ll reward you when he comes to take his bride away.” Let’s start building!
