In these last days we all need to be aware of Satan’s strategies towards us. The things he uses as a distraction to stop us from working towards heaven. Satan is thirsty so he roams the world seeking whom he may devour. So that’s why 1 Peter 5 vs8 tells us to be sober, be vigilant….. See, Satan doesn’t have a body, he doesn’t live anywhere so he’s always looking for a body to dwell in. As soon as we make ourselves available he will come in and dwell in us. So we must be watchful for his tactics. He is a destroyer!
He has no control over the ones who belong to Christ, so have nothing to fear because we belong to the true and living God. We only fear God. Guess what? He is defeated! The plan of God shall never fail. He will roar all he wants but he cannot prevent the work of God from being fulfilled.
Look at the life of job. Job 1, Satan accuses us before God as he did to Job. But the greatest thing is that we now have an advocate who intercedes on our behalf. Hebrew 7:25 tells the path to a victorious life in this warfare is to stand fast in Christ…Galatians 5 vs 1
Rev 12 vs 10….his defeat is sure and he cannot win, but still he has not ceased with his accusations. He is the biggest hypocrite in the universe. He rebels against every good thing. While Jesus makes intercession for us, he lives to accuse, discourages, destroy, and make us feel worthless. We can never try to compromise with Satan because his mission is to destroy but Jesus comes to give life. John 10 vs 10. He is a liar and the father of lies John8 vs 44. We must be wise at his tactics so we will not be taken over with deception to bear shame.
We can fight our accuser by putting on the armor of God…Ephesian 6 vs 16-18 and stand firm in his truth. In James 4 vs 6-10 let us know that he gives us grace and he also said that he opposes the proud but he favors the humble. If we resist the devil then he will have to flee. God wants us to draw closer to him each day.
As we continue in this warfare, let us be aware of Satan’s devices, let us put on our armor and prepare for battle. We have to have the word of God embedded in us because it the most powerful weapon to fight with. Last but not least continue in fasting and prayer.
