Every day we see prophecies being fulfilled and things that the Bible speak of are coming to pass. Do not be ignorant of these times because we’re living in the last days. Matthew 24 vs 6 -8 speaks about wars and rumors of wars and we are not to be troubled because all these things must come to pass. It goes on to say nation shall rise against nations and there will be famine and pestilence, earthquake in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrow.
“Look up redemption draweth nigh.”
It’s such a challenge also when we find ourselves in a place where we’re bombarded with fear. We want to overcome it, yet we have a hard time doing so. Sadly, we often gaze at our problems and merely glance at God. We need to reverse that and glaze at our good, mighty, powerful God and simply glance at our problems.
Not only do we need to encourage ourselves in spite of our situations, but God requires us to be the light of the world, to be a source of hope, comfort and consolation to each other.
God is saying to us:
Fear not, I am with you

He is our refuge and strength
God is faithful. We must never lose hope. God is our only source. In him we are safe and secure. In him we can find peace. So as we go through this Pandemic season, we must not let anything distract us. Set our minds on the things above. Focus and shout to the heaven. Give praises to God for his goodness towards us. Pray for everyone. I want us to know that in the midst of this chaos and confusion, God hears and answer prayers. “He said call on me and I will answer.” We ought to listen to the voice of God. He saying that he’s talking and no one is listening.
As we go through, I pray that these words will be comfort to us knowing we serve a God that is bigger than all of what we’re facing. Hebrew 12:2 tell us to keep our eyes on Jesus because he authored our faith and continues to perfect it. We need to find out where our thoughts are directed. Because we are humans, we still battle with what our flesh desires. Our flesh will always drift towards what feels good and easier.
We need to look up towards Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. When we do this, our minds are less likely to stay fixed on our problems. We won’t grow weary, which in turn will give us strength to stay on course. Let’s not give up, but “LOOK UP.
