Good morning everyone. When I read about the miracles that Jesus did, He uses the word “ARISE”

In other wards He is saying “Get up” This is a call for action, faith, trust and believing in God. This means getting rid of things that are holding us down, the hindrances that are preventing us from walking and embracing God’s calling for us.

Many of us God has called to ministry and because of fear and lack of faith we take a back seat saying that we are not ready, we can’t do it, we’re not educated enough, we’re not in the church long enough. Like me, I would say I hop scotch too much so I can’t do ministry. But these are the people who God will use especially if we make ourselves available because we have the experiences. We can testify of how good God is and how He take us through our situation

God has called us to do greater than we think we can handle and in order for us to do this we have to crucify self.

We have to stop murmuring and complaining when He called us to do something. We need to stop saying we can’t and say “I can do all things through Christ. PHILIPPIANS 4:13 If He calls us then He will guide us through, equipped us and strengthen us for what he has called us to do. Have FAITH IN GO… Mark 22:22

Forgetting the former things Isaiah 43:18. Leave your old perception behind and focus on the new things that God is calling us to.

Rid ourselves of habits and attitudes that are not in the plan and will of God.

It’s my prayer that we Arise in faith and pursue the calling which God has placed on our lives. Do not listen to what people have to say. Everyone is not going to cheer you on because they’re all for themselves and are not happy for us. Don’t even look at their faces, focus on our calling, take authority and walk in it. Philippians 1:6 says “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Take heart and take action.”
