The Journey

Marlene McBean

We may feel down and out and feel like God has forgotten about us, but he hasn’t.  He said to tell us,  don’t watch the journey, look towards the destination.  The journey comes  with a lot of rocky roads,  sleepless nights, distractions, depression,  stress, hatred and a host of other things.

God is saying during these times he wants us to remain faithful. He wants us to activate our faith and trust him to take us through the journey.  A prize is awaiting us at the end of the journey.  It can be compared to the running of a race and receiving a prize at the finishing line. Let us look towards the prize. Eternal life awaits us.

It may seem hard now, but believe me it is getting harder by the day. We need to understand that we are going to need someone to take us, and help us through this journey. I’m inviting you to take the Lord Jesus as your companion, as your guide and director through this journey of life.

We cannot survive this journey without him. We need his supernatural intervention for this journey.  God is calling us to have a relationship with him, where he can communicate with us. All he is asking for us to do is harken diligently, listen to his voice and do whatsoever he hath commanded us and his blessings will run us down. (Deut. 28) So, don’t  be dismayed,  or don’t be afraid, God is with us even when you feel alone he’s there. I encourage you to get a glimpse of what God has in store for you. You won’t regret it….Be blessed.
