We Are Extra Special To GOD

God knew us before we were formed in our mother’s womb and has ordained our future from then. He knew what He wanted us to become. Just as we were born again, He had plans for our lives and we needed to find our calling and pursue it by fasting, prayer and reading the word of God. We are extra special to God!

Jeremiah was ordained as a prophet before birth. He was even forbidden to marry so that he could fully devote himself to the preaching of God’s judgment. Jeremiah was afraid to go out because he was so young like under 25 years of age. He might have been saying that no one would listen to him and he didn’t know what to say.

Do not be afraid

Just like us today, the Lord will send us to do something and we would say Lord I’m too young in the faith. We don’t know enough or we are not ready for this. But God is saying to us “don’t be afraid as He told Jeremiah not to be afraid of their faces He’s saying the same thing to us today. He says He will deliver us.

We may be young in the faith and think that we’re not ready but He says go, open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with words (Psalm 81 vs 10) He will put words in our mouth. Remember He has anointed us and will never leave us hanging. See, we are extra special!

Our life was planned

Our lives were planned out by God himself, we just have to embrace it. God has a calling and a purpose for each of us. It is our duty to answer that calling. The mandate that is set is for us is to go in the world and preach the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28 vs 19).

Our success and failure comes from a source that is far greater than ourselves and we are led in our calling.  Christians can rest assured that God will guide us day by day and reveal to us what He wants us to do.  We are valuable to God or else we wouldn’t be thought of before we were born.

People are not here by chance.

It is a comfort to know that we are not here by chance. We were created with a specific use in his mind before birth. How awesome this is? Ephesians 2 vs10, says For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. This tells us that Christ sent us to serve Him, not in our own strength, but in His resources and might.

“We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.” We do not have to prepare them; but to wear them as garments, made to order for every occasion of our lives.  We must receive them by faith and go forth in His work, believing that He is with us, and in us, as our all sufficiency for wisdom, faith, love and prayer.

GOD designed us.

So before time began he designed all of us with a purpose. We are a “Promise and a Possibility.”  We must empty everything inside of us and come to serve as an empty clean vessel. A dirty vessel is useless for serving.  When we serve with a clean vessel, we will be astonished with how God uses us to bring light to others and how he blesses us. We cannot lean on our own understanding or our own talents.

We MUST come as an empty, clean vessel and serve according to his purpose. In other words, ‘COME TRANSPARENT.”  Some of us would think like Moses that he’s not competent enough because of his stammering tongue and slow of speech

Have faith in the GOD in you.

Jeremiah 1 vs 6– Jeremiah, I believe was doubtful of his potentials. He thinks that as a small boy, he couldn’t speak to adults or persons who he thought were more intelligent than himself. God didn’t care, that was his plan for his life. He chose him and that’s who he was going to use. God used David to kill Goliath. Why can’t He use us? He can use anyone of us to do his will. It doesn’t matter how old we are in the faith or in age as long as we are available and willing He will use us.

Remember who is in control.

1 Timothy 4:12 says Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Let us consider our own calling. Not many of us are wise by human standards, or powerful, and of noble birth. God choses what is low and despised in the world, things that are to reduce to nothing and things that no one will boast in his presence.  God is saying to us that he doesn’t need an old wise person to do his will All he needs is an available and willing empty vessel. Again, You see we are extra special to God! If you can use anything Lord, you can use me.

Let us go about our lives with a purpose to preach God with our lives, be on show. Show the world how special we are. We are all created by God alone who knitted us together in our mother’s womb.  Yes, we are extra special to God.
