For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 this means that God’s plan for us sure and we will end up with a bright and positive future. He said his promises are for good and not evil. This promise gives us hope.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29 God is saying to us that if we carry all our cares and worries to him he’ll give us rest that means he will relieve us of our problems. Jesus is saying rest in me, depend on me, I’ll take care of you.
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 He’s saying God will supply all our needs. Whatever we need He will give it to us because He is rich. In asking we have to believe, as Mark 11-22-24 tells us that we must have faith in God and we shall receive whatsoever we ask in His name…
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 sees God promising us a free gift “salvation.” He said if we continue in sin the reward is death but if we invite him in our hearts then the great reward is life everlasting. What a promise!
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9 See in order to receive this eternal life, all we have to do is an open confession or publicly acknowledge that He is Lord and salvation is our forever. Easy as ABC
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41.10 He promises to strengthen and keep us when fear comes.
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14 wow! See what he says? Just stand still and watch me fight your battles for you. We don’t have to do anything but pray and he’s take care of the rest.
These are some of the promises God has for us. All we have to do when we are faced with different circumstances we cannot handle remember His words. He is not one to not keep His promises and He will never ever leave you hanging. He never lies.
