As children of God, we must know who we are in Christ and whose we are.  Here are some scriptures reminders us of who we are in Christ Jesus

We are a new creation

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 CO 5:17

We are reconciled to God.

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 CO 5:18

We are children of God.

For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. Galatians 3:26

God is now my Father. I am part of God’s family. I am no longer an outsider.

We are no longer a slave to sin

We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. Romans 6:6

We are forgiven of all our sins

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:13

We are the righteousness of God

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

We are at peace with God

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

We are joint-heir with Christ

And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. Romans 8:17

We are chosen and loved by God

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience… Colossians 3:12

I could go on and on with scriptures but the main point is for us or know who we are and not to sell ourselves short. We ought to think of ourselves as Kings and Queens in the kingdom of God and not mere servants. We need to live and act like we are Royalty and not like we are poor. The God that we serve is RICH, and we must not beg. God ‘s promise to us is that he will take care of us so we ought not to worry about what to eat or drink.  Matthew 6:34.  God has that locked
