Friends are to be loyal….

When I look how we live today, we tear each other up, we don’t care about each other’s feeling and that shouldn’t be so.  What I realize is that we don’t want to hear the truth. How can we have friends and cannot be honest? We want friends to agree with us and make us feel good. We need friends that will sincerely celebrate us when we are victorious and even mourn with us when we lose our loved ones. Friends like these are necessary because of the support and motivation it gives us to run the race that is before us.

Friendship should not be taken lightly…..

God created friendships as a support system which should not be taken lightly. Friendship in Christ will make and help us to make Christ our first priority. God’s friendship protect us when the enemy comes along to tell us that we are worthless and that we won’t make it. Friends help each other through difficult times. They pray together, laugh together, and cry together. Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people.          

Jesus will always have your back…..

Jesus has been and still is the ultimate friend. He is the best friend one could ever have. He is someone you can trust, someone who has our backs. When we speak to him He will not betray us. Christ died for us because of the love he has for us including Judas who betrayed him and Peter who denied him. God has the same love for us and none is excluded.  He is the best friend one could ever have. He is omnipresent. Can you imagine being everywhere at the same time? Our God is an awesome God.  Look at this; no matter where we are in the world if we call on him He will show up. I tend to wonder sometimes how he does it and if He is  ever tired . He’s a supernatural being.

Seek Christ while HE may be found….

Just as how God is everywhere and we need him, He need us too. Oh yes, He needs us and the world needs him just as we need each other in this world. So, as we go through this weekend, seek a friend before you need one. I invite you to seek  Jesus , He will never disappoint you.
