HOW TO STAY POSITIVE

If or when you get yourself in a bad situation practice asking yourself if this is worth getting upset over. The truth is there are not many things that are really worth you getting really mad about.  That would just give you a headache. Let us look on ways how to stay positive.

Secondly you need to ask yourself if there is anything that you can learn from this situation. We need to understand that most things happen for us to gain experience. This experience is usually right there to help us in the future should in case something else comes up. This is another way how to stay positive. It is important to note that experience teaches wisdom. It really would not make much sense to be making the same mistakes over and over again. We need to learn from them.

Thirdly you could assess the situation you are in and see if you or the other person might just be overreacting to a simple situation. Maybe it might just be something that can be easily worked out and laughed about. In this time and age things are taken a bit too seriously and people tend to get violent over simple things. Maybe its a situation where a mediator could have been brought in to deal with the situation. Learning how to stay positive in any environment is of major importance.

Fourthly and this may sound funny.  You could ask yourself what is the positive thing that I can take away from this situation? It may be hard to find at the moment but if you look deeply there may be some positive message within the misery that seem to be covering the situation. Usually coming out of every bad situation is usually something good.

Fifth and finally and this might seem really big but we need to look on whether or not this situation is making us better people or are we worse off? Would fussing make things better or would it make other people see me in a different light? Wouldn’t it be better to learn how to stay positive? It’s better to work out things in love than in stress and pain.

Seriously, this may be hard to do but it would be in our best interest to stay positive as mental health is of prime importance and stress kills. So, let us try to remain positive during whatever situation we are faced with.
