It is good to “Talk”.
Is this true?

It might have been said many times that you talk too much, and you might have been offended by it. In situations like these, it could lead you into some introspection. You would likely ask yourself the question,” Do I talk too much?”

The other question you may ask yourself is “Did they just say that because they wanted me to shut up?” These questions may just run through your head ever so often so that you could adjust your behaviour. The reason why you would want to do this is that you really would not want to be offending anybody because you are talking too much and possibly not listening to anybody. It could also mean that you are talking about things that you shouldn’t.

The other reason may just be to ascertain that they did not just shut you up because you were speaking the truth and they (those in a conversation with you) could not take it.

The truth, however, is that it is healthy to talk. There is nothing wrong with talking but one must be mindful of how much you speak especially if you are in a meeting or just with the social company. Nobody wants a chatterbox around them while their mouths remain closed especially if they want to be a part of the conversation.

Talking helps you to lighten your mental loads especially when you have a lot on your mind. When you speak of your issues you can find solutions with the help of others.

Talking helps us to improve our communication skills. It helps us to express ourselves in different setting whether it be professional or social. This will make us more flexible as we meet the communication demands of this world. It is because of talking why solutions are found in businesses so that profits can be made. Some great ideas are born from brainstorming.

The ability to talk lends itself to motivating and helping others to reach to heights that they have never thought possible and therefore we have motivational speakers. So talking even though it can be too much at times is very healthy mentally and it is a powerful means of helping others through inspiration and motivation.
