Liar or Gossiper?

This morning let us look on a hypocrite. There are so many times that we have smiled with those we hate and we have never told them how we feel. They continue to be in our space whether it might be work or play but we continue to hurt ourselves with the annoyance of their company to the dismay of our minds. Is this something that the Lord would want us to do? We have said it so many times that this is the best way to keep the peace but what about our very peace of mind? If we have an issue with our brother or our sister let us try to work it out in the best way we can rather than resorting to hatred. It is best to say your piece rather than gossiping as well. Are you a liar or gossiper?

The bible also said that “anyone who spreads gossip is a fool” (Proverbs 10v18-22). We all know it is not right to gossip but how does it make us a fool? Can you imagine gossiping about something that is not true. Wouldn’t it be better to hear something and keep it to yourself rather than to tell others and then find out that it was not true? How do you think you would feel? Would you feel like a fool?

As Christians our integrity is everything and even though we are not perfect we strive for perfection through Jesus Christ. Christians are being watched everyday because lifestyle tells the tale. Let our word be our bond and let us be slow to speak especially if it is to tear down or hurt a brother or sister. Are you a liar or gossiper? Let me hope you are none of the two. We are not perfect and so if we find ourselves in the position where we would have to take on the roles let us pray that GOD will deliver us as we continue on our journey.
