How you think can damage your lifestyle, family or even friendship. Some times we only look at the negative side of things. What we perceive is what we receive. So we give a twist to what we either see or hear. Someone might do or say something and we don’t’ bother to listen or look properly, we just start fussing and even behave unseemly. Renew your Mind!
How we behave can affect our lives, our children, friends or even our spiritual life. How sad. We even take people for granted by looking at them in the worse possible way because of misunderstanding ones action. We think everything is about us. Stop dwelling on the past, it’s already gone. Renew your mind! We all have to change the way we think at times, the way we perceive or receive things or people.
We can change if we want to. First, we have to acknowledge that there is a problem or let’s say a fault and the need for change. If you do, there will be so many changes in our day to day conduct and we’ll be more happier with the people around us. Changing our focus also means being open to other’s opinions, especially if it challenges our own.
The more our mindset is fixated on positive thinking, we’ll find that we are more at peace with ourselves and everyone around us. Oh, then we will start to grow stronger and be a more rounded individual who has new ideas and new opinions. So, instead of bashing people, we’ll see them as God sees them and learn to appreciate them for who they are. We can even help others to be better persons as well. We will see after a period of trying to change how it will affect our lives.
One way to change your mindset is slowing down. When you slow down, you begin to find yourself in the same tune and vibrations as the world around you. You begin to become aware of what resonates with you and what doesn’t. You start becoming present.
Just something as simple as changing your thinking can change your life. There is great importance in spending time doing mindset work. Within this period, we begin to understand ourselves, and through that understanding, we become more compassionate and patient with ourselves.

8. Looking at your situation from the other side or the other person’s perspective
The next time you start to feel anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed, try to reframe the situation and look at it from a slightly different angle. I leave you with Philippians 4 vs 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Renew your mind!
