In this world there is the good and there is the evil. As individuals we cannot be naïve to think that everybody is for us. Our world being the jungle that it is has predators, friends and foes lurking in every dark and light corner with their own agendas. This may sound a bit harsh especially the aspect about “friends” but if we should look closely within our own circles we would see for ourselves. As scary as it may seem though we have a gift that God placed in us to help us see what’s coming. I believe that if we tap into this gift then nothing much will come as a surprise. Have you ever heard the term discernment? The ability to know right from wrong; good or evil. 1Cor 12:10

As children of God the Holy Spirit has been given to us to help us through our situations and problems along with many other things. This spirit that lives within us guides us. We therefore need to make God apart of all our dealings. The dwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives tells us how really special we are. We are so special that He walks around with us and He is more than capable of protecting us. The Holy Spirit can differentiate between good and evil or right and wrong. The Holy Sprit helps us to discern what’s the best move to make in all situations. Our job is to learn how to listen and follow through.

As we go through today allow the Holy spirit in your lives. Allow Christ to protect you. Nothing can protect you more than the Holy Spirit. Its security personnel’s are unlimited and always on call. As you sit around your desk, drive your vehicle, walk or sleep you can do so comfortably if you only accept Jesus in your lives. Everything else which includes discernment will be taken care of.
