We prepare for everything we do, especially when going on a Vacation.  A few weeks ago I was preparing for my vacation and I made sure I had someone to work for me while I was out. It was important to make sure that all my stuff were up to date and everything was in place. Making sure that I had everything I needed for this vacation was of major importance.  I had not taken a vacation in over a year and I was getting very tired. My body was drained and weary but I pushed my way through until the day finally came. Are you prepared?

Do you spend time preparing for Christ?

When I look back on all that I had to go through to prepare, my mind goes back on my walk with God. I look closely at how much I’m doing for him. Further more I look at how hard I try to push through amidst the things I go through. Now we all prepare for something, whether a function or even taking a trip somewhere.  If we can look back on how much sacrifices we make and effort that is placed in our preparation, can we ask ourselves this question? How much effort do we put in for God?

Is serving apart of your preparation?

God has called us to serve. In our serving just how much of our time do we give to him? Yet, we expect him to run to our rescue every time we call. Are we preparing ourselves for his coming? We do that by living a holy and pleasing life unto him. If we are asking ourselves if this is possible? yes, it is. As Individuals we should live to please God and not man. Our goal is to have Faith, be spiritually minded, having the fear of God, obeying God and study his word. Making sacrifices for God is also of major importance. Are you prepared?

Study the word and prepare the mind…..

Hebrews 13 vs21   “[May God] make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen”

Hebrews 13 vs. 15-16    “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased”

As we go through this week let us take time out for Jesus, let us find the time to be our brother’s keeper, let us find the time to have that one and one conversation with him, get intimate with him spending time in the secret place.  I leave you with Isaiah 55 Read and be blessed
