Let us take some time out to think of David. It is good for us to be reminded that the battle is the Lord’s. David had to fight for his life many times. There are times when he would remember God and there are times when he would not.

If we should look on the battle between himself and Goliath the giant. We see were he remembered God in this instance but the battle between himself and Bathsheba he did not remember God at all.

David bad ways warns us to be careful while his triumphant ways reminds us to be mindful. The general message however is that we must have confidence that God is willing and will be fighting for us .

Nehemiah 4:20New King James Version

What is your Goliath today? Nehemiah 4 :20 tells us that God will fight for us.

20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”

When things are not going the way God would want it He is not slack in taking care of the situation. This could be a job, marriage ,financial or family issue. He is always able to fight these for you. He needs to be asked though through prayer and He will act. Be reminded he may not come through when you want him to but I can guarantee that He is always on time. Remember the battle is the Lord’s not yours.

Exodus 14:14 New King James Version

1The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold[a] your peace.”

Here again the word maintains that He will fight for you regardless of the situation that you are in. You do not need to worry because this will only cause you to start stressing over situations that can cause you to be physically ill. Our GOD who is the creator of all things ,knows all things and can solve all things. We just need to acknowledge Him and allow him to work. It is never for us to try and help Him to help us because He is more than capable.
