When we think of all the things that we have to go through on a daily basis sometimes we have to wonder how we actually make it through a given day. For those of us who work far from home there are times when we have to deal with travel issues. This includes getting on a bus on time along with the fact that it should not be too crowded because of covid19. Think about the near misses on the road as well. If we drive we have to think about the traffic or the road conditions we might have to endure. This is usually just the beginning of the day and can you imagine if you didn’t have breakfast? It has to be Him.

Then comes the time when you get to work and sometimes you might get a cup of coffee if you are the boss. If you are not the boss you will have to make it yourself. Here you now have to deal with your colleagues and all their personalities along with controlling yours. This for a whole day can be very exhausting. If the work environment is good then you may just have it a bit easier if it is not then you are in for a drag. It has to be Him.

Furthermore you will now have to deal with the demands of the job that you are being paid for. The questions or tasks you will be asked to accomplish could either make you or break you. If you love your job then you will do this with a smile but if you don’t it could be like walking on needles. A day in the office sometimes really pull everything out of you and then comes the journey home with a tired body. You might even have to buy dinner on the way home. It has to be Him.

The question is how do you do this every day usually five days for the week? Of course there are others who go six. I will answer. You did this with the grace, power, endurance and strength of God. God gave you the stamina and the endurance that sustained you through the course of the day. This should never go without being acknowledged. Even if it for a few seconds today let us reflect on this and be grateful for his power of endurance and protection. If it was not for God then a day at work or play could have been our last. Remember He also took you back home.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 NIV
