How many times have you been asked to do things that you really don’t want to do? Does the position you hold place you in a situation where you cannot say no. Is it a position that you have to take orders? This can be very uncomfortable and disconcerted for many. It may entail a situation where you have to speak to some individuals who you never really wanted to talk to. There is also the possibility of you being told to go to a place that you really don’t want to go but saying no could jeopardize your job. This is one of those times when you are placed between a rock and a hard place. What do you do?

What would be your choice?

The Holy Spirit actually reminded me of Jonah and how he was sent to do God’s business. He decided against doing it because of his own reasons. He decided to run away and ended up being thrown off a boat and swallowed by a whale. Your boss of course is not God but it is a strong possibility that what you need to do may be of significant benefit to many. In Jonah’s case the Lord wanted to save the life of 120,000 people in Nineveh. Have you ever stop to think that God has a plan?

You will reap the benefits.
